weight loss goal

My sister is engaged!  YAY!  As happy as I am for her and for all the fun it is going to be to help with the wedding, I have something I have to do!  I have until July 20th of this year to lose some weight and get into my pre-pregnancy jeans.

As embarrassing as this is, I have to put it now in to words and text so I can get motivated and get going.

As of right now I am 180 lbs.  My goal is to lose at least 15 lbs by the time Kaija is married to her future husband Keifer.  Ideally, I would love to lose 20, but I think 15 is a good number.  That will get me to 165 which is only 10 lbs heavier than my high school weight.

I will start running, eating healthier, doing crunches and push-ups(my enemy!), and stay away from soda.  Hopefully I can get Steve into doing this, he needs to get healthier as well, but he has had some medical issues to deal with that make it really hard for him to exercise.

So, I will be posting every week my accomplishments for that week and my set backs to keep me motivated.

Why has this started besides Kaija getting married?  The Biggest Loser!  Their season is about "No Excuses" and I should have no excuse anymore for being overweight.  I have the ability and support system to do this!  Granted, I just had a kid 3 months ago, but enough is enough and I can do this!

So help my keep on track!
